The attorneys and team at Chipman Brown Cicero & Cole, LLP, are pleased to announce our inclusion in the twelfth edition of the “Best Law Firms” rankings, collaboratively announced by Best Lawyers and U.S. News & World Report.

The selection process for inclusion in “Best Law Firms” is rigorous and discerning, with special consideration given to a law firm’s professional excellence and consistently impressive ratings from clients and peers. “‘Best Law Firms’ rankings continuously act as a top marker of distinction throughout the legal industry [and] help individuals make important life decisions,” says Phil Greer, CEO of Best Lawyers.

The 2022 list of “Best Law Firms” includes 75 national and 127 metropolitan practice areas. The rankings are the result of an exacting process that involves several components. These include both client and lawyer evaluations as well as peer reviews from prominent attorneys in their respective fields. Each firm is also required to provide additional information during the formal submission process.

Chipman Brown Cicero & Cole, LLP, was recognized in four practice areas for its Delaware regional rankings. The firm was also regionally ranked in 12 practice areas by U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers in its 2022 “Best Law Firms” rankings.

Regional Rankings – Delaware

  • Gold Badge Tier 1 in Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights / Insolvency and Reorganization Law
  • Gold Badge Tier 1 in Litigation – Bankruptcy

This year’s rankings incorporate over 8.2 million evaluations from over 115,000 leading lawyers who work at over 22,000 firms.

Those firms that attained a national and metropolitan Tier 1 ranking will be featured in the physical edition of U.S. News – Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms.”

Firms are ranked two ways. First, they are ranked either nationally or regionally. Second, they are ranked in one of three tiers. These tiers were designed to reflect “the highest level of respect a firm can earn among other leading lawyers and clients from the same communities and practice areas,” according to award sponsor Best Lawyers.
